Organisation & The School Day

Manor Sandringham is a school for boys and girls from the age of 3 – 7 years.  It is a five-form entry school with provision for 78 part time Nursery children.

Manor Longbridge is a school for boys and girls from the age of 3 – 11 years.  It is a three-form entry school with provision for 78 part time Nursery children.  Manor Longbridge also has specially resourced provision for 12 children with Autism or complex communication difficulties.

The beginning of the day is a busy time for everyone, and it is important for the school day to start on time.  If you need to let the class teacher know about something, you can send a message to them via the teaching assistant at the door.  (EYFS & KS1 or via the office for KS2).

The class teachers are available to speak to parents after school on most days or you can arrange a mutually convenient time.  Parents are can also contact the teaching teams by using the year group’s dedicated email address.  Please click here to see the details of year group email addresses.

Please be on time to collect your child at the end of the school day.  If you are delayed, please telephone the office and advise us of this so that we can reassure your child that you are on your way.

Please let the class teacher know if anyone other than the usual adult is coming to collect your child.

Anyone collecting the children should be at least 14 years of age.

Year 5 & 6 children may be able to make their own way to and from school if the school has received written permission for them to do so.

Times for the school day

Manor Infants / Longbridge has slightly varying times for different class or year groups.  The children will enter school at an allocated time that will be between 08:50 and 09:05.  The children will leave school at an allocated time between 15:10 and 15:25.

All children have a mid-morning break and lunch time.  The times for these vary according to group.  Please see the welcome presentations or contact the school office for more information.
