Playground Leaders

 

Being a playground leader is a fun, enjoyable and important job, and is a role that comes with some very important responsibilities.

 

Playground leaders:

  • Act as an ambassador for the school both in school and out.

  • Help to organise and supervise playground games.

  • Make sure that playground equipment is stored and packed away correctly after playtime.

  • Help to make the playground a calm, enjoyable space for everyone.

  • Work in teams to think of and teach new, fun activities to other children and staff.

  • Offer advice when the school is considering making changes to the playground and the available equipment.

 

The role offers selected students a fabulous opportunity to practice vital life skills such as; communication, cooperation, teamwork and problem solving in a safe supervised enviorament.
