Year Six endeavour to identify a mystery item during Book Fortnight!
On Monday 3rd March 2025, all children at Manor launched Book Fortnight by exploring a mysterious item that had escaped from a fairy tale.
In Year Six, pupils discussed their item - a 'child's bed' - and heatedly debated which fairy tale it had escaped from, using their knowledge of traditional tales.
After a class discussion, the pupils predicted the origin of the 'child's bed' and created book covers for the story that they thought the 'child's bed' belong to. Here are some of the book covers they created...
