Queen Elizabeth was a great Queen who made the United Kingdom a better place. A lot of people loved her. Even though she was a Queen, she was still a regular person who lived a regular life. I remember when we celebrated her Platinum Jubilee. We all had a great time.

Year 6 Pupil

I appreciate the Queen because of how generous she was. All around the UK people celebrated the Queen’s jubilees that she had earned from reigning for 70 years. For example, my school created our own crowns and dressed up in red, white and blue and we had a parade! The Queen was a caring and determined person. This is why admire the Queen.

I would like to wish King Charles a good time reigning and hopefully he would remember the Queen.

Year 6 Pupil

The Queen was an inspiration to many people. She was humble despite being the Queen. She was also a role model to me as well, one of the values she taught me was resilience because she is very patient and now I am too.

I wish King Charles III the best of luck.

Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen was an independent woman, who never gave up even with all the obstacles blocking her. She was a great role model to the world, as she got to know people and thought about others before making a decision. By doing this, the Queen showed cooperation and respect as she considered everyone’s opinion.

I think King Charles III will be a wonderful leader like his mother and I give him my support. I am excited to have a new king. I hope he’s a great ruler.

Year 6 Pupil

It will be very strange having a king because I have only known Britain to be ruled by a Queen. We’ll miss her famous Christmas speech I always watched it with my family. Now she’ll be known in history as the longest reigning Queen of all time.

Year 6 Pupil

The Queen’s passing was a shock to me because the Queen has ruled ever since I was born in 2012, so she’s all I’ve ever known. She was our longest reigning monarch and a role model to everyone as she visited and cared for her people. She was the nation’s protector.

Year 6 Pupil

The Queen was an inspiring, kind-hearted person that people and I will remember. I really enjoyed the Jubilee because we got to be together with smiles on our faces and ate yummy fish and chips celebrating 70 wonderful years.

Queen Elizabeth II.
I believe that King Charles III will be a good king, because he has followed his mother’s footsteps since birth. He was devastated when his mother died. He said this is the great sadness

Year 6 Pupil

My memories are her Platinum Jubilee and how she has ruled for 70 years. Our majesty’s Jubilee was the best milestone for us and her. I hope King Charles has followed the Queen's steps and will be the best King we will ever have and this will hopefully carry on for generations.

Year 6 Pupil

We were very lucky to have her majesty, the Queen. She was the oldest person in history to reign. We had a Jubilee celebration in school and it was fun. We had the crown festival, we ate fish and chips outside.

She loved her corgis and used to take them for walks and I would like to look after a puppy too one day.
