Circle Time

Have a little chat with your children, see how they are doing. Ask them how they are. It doesn't have to be long! 



This activity helps children to express themselves non-verbally. 

Write a couple of feelings on some cards such as, happy, angry, sad, annoyed, careful. Put the cards into a hat and ask your child to choose a card. They need to act out the feeling while you and the rest of the family guess the feeling they are expressing!

Dress to express

Allow your child to dress themselves and choose their own outfit. Discuss their choice of outfit and how the colour of their chosen outfit can let people know how they are feeling!
